First Plastics Corporation operates from two facilities in Leominster, Massachusetts, which is approximately 40 miles from Boston. The main facility is utilized for production and administrative tasks, while the other facility is utilized for warehousing and distribution functions. Our manufacturing plant comprises 52,000 square-feet – 50,000 square-feet of production space and 2,000 of office space. The building also features 12 truck bays for loading and unloading, material handling system, eleven resin silos with 1,000,000-pound capacity and an overhead crane system. Warehousing and distribution operations are conducted out of another local facility comprising 72,000 feet. 

FPC additionally:

• provides custom plastic injection molding services.
  
• operates three eight-hour shifts, seven days per week from its main facility in Leominster, Massachusetts. 
• equips its molding department with 19 modern presses that range from 250 tons to 1,650 tons and have shot capacities of 20 ounces to 356 ounces.
• routinely processes all types of thermoplastics, from commodity-grade to engineered resin, both filled and unfilled, such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), acrylic, nylon, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polysulfone, polypropylene oxide (PPO), flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC), TPE and TPU thermoplastic elastomers and urethanes. 
• Biodegradable resins for a friendly environment.
• inventories a variety of resins and is capable of matching any color to suit the customer’s needs.  
  
• offers post-molding services such as custom packaging, in-mold labeling, component assembly, hot stamping, image transfer decorating, ultrasonic welding, riveting, warehousing and distribution.
• procures new tooling and molds for its customers.
• utilizes MATTEC, production management software. 
  
• maintains eleven resin silos with 1,000,000-pound capacity, coupled with automated vacuum material handling system. 
  
• utilizes the latest state-of-the-art information systems hardware and software.
